Sommelier – Jimmy’s Kitchen

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to Head of Food & Beverage, the talent will be in-charge for the wine program – procurement, storage, development of lists and driving sales – across a number of restaurants.  He/ She will work alongside the culinary & service teams to pair and suggest wine that best complements various food menu items, as well as liaising with the marketing team to plan and launch various events and promotions to drive the business. The talent will also be engaged in various group projects and budgeting to align with business objectives.  Delivery of training to floor staff and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers are also essential for the position.

Education, Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum 4 year’s relevant work experience in hospitality and / or F&B industry
  • WSET or similar is highly preferred
  • Strong inter-personal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Proficient in English while Chinese is an advantage
